ABOUT
We want to encourage you through this series of lectures to also leave the city, "following in the footsteps of Abraham", so that living with God in the countryside may bless you and your family, promote your physical, moral and spiritual well-being. The speakers all have extensive experience in country living and will share their experiences with you, as well as spiritual and practical lessons that can help you in your personal walk with the Lord God.

ABRAHAM
Abraham, the father of the believers and friend of God, left everything behind and went on a journey with God! He left Ur, the bustling capital of Sumer, the heart of the then Mesopotamian civilization, to live as a shepherd in the countryside. Abraham went in obedience by faith--because God had spoken to him--not knowing whither (see Hebrews 11:8). While Nimrod and the Babylonians built a city and a tower to their own glory, Abraham lived in tents and traveled the Middle East as a nomad, building altars to God's glory. "For he waited for the city that hath foundations, of which God is the Designer and Builder." (Hebrews 11:10 KJV)
