family Eijndhoven
Suriname
Hello, my name is Marcel Eijndhoven and I am already 54 years old. From my parents I am the only son. I got married over 15 years ago to Clea Marman and together we have 3 children. The 2 oldest, Nishita and Casella, have left us and the youngest, Naomi, still lives with us. Why this step to Suriname? For that we have to go back some time. Clea grew up as a ZDA and, when we met, she also brought me to the faith. From that time on I started reading "The Word" and other faith books. Unfortunately, reading is not my hobby, so it takes a little longer, but it also introduced me to the books of Ellen G. White. About a year and a half ago the book 'Country living' came up. After several financially difficult years, God blessed us by selling our house. After the sale we started looking for a house with a plot of land to grow our own crops. Unfortunately, because of Corona, our search came to nothing and we got the idea that God wanted to use us for something else. Clea had a very strong urge to leave the Netherlands and go to Suriname. Of course I had to deal with that, but God led us through it and on March 14, 2022 we left for Suriname. It was not easy because I had to quit my job. So out of faith I had to act. It took almost 1 year to say goodbye to my job, pack my things, say goodbye to family and leave. Meanwhile, we live more than 5 months in Suriname. We find our way but there are still new challenges every day. Especially life outside the city. Clea I come from a family of 14 children including 9 girls and 5 boys. All but 1 brother are still healthy and alive with God's grace. We grew up in the countryside and were taught by our parents to be active in working the land. Later in life I moved to the city and forgot about tilling. Never did anything planting/ cultivating again. I am married to Marcel and we have 3 daughters and 4 grandchildren. I have lived in the Netherlands for over 22 years. After 12.5 years working for the KNMG I stopped working there because God told me to go in a different direction. I did not wait too long to do so, but I did not yet have full confidence that God had a different plan for me. Country Living was not an issue at all. We (our family) went through some financial troughs after that, but God never let us down. I experienced spiritual growth during that period. During the corona I started to think deeply again and prayed a lot for God's guidance. I realized that God wants His children to live in the countryside to learn self-sufficiency and to prepare for His coming.

Reuben Stuger
Panama
Reuben Stuger was born in Guyana but raised in the Netherlands. He is the only boy and youngest of 5 siblings. Raised in the faith as his father is a Seventh Day Adventist pastor. However he and his entire family became more mission oriented when their father got sick of cancer. The decision was made to trust God and seek healing through his word and the counsels given in the Spirit of prophecy. The family was not disappointed as they experienced a great miracle as their father experienced healing. From this time forward it has been the mission of the family to share the wise counsels of both the bible and the Spirit of Prophecy as they had experienced it first hand and are eye witnesses of God’s healing grace. To accomplish this goal the ministry Back2EdenLifestyle was established. This ministry encourages individuals to get back to God’s ideal in both diet but most importantly character. To accomplish this purpose Back2EdenLifestyle has purchased 16 hectares of land in Panama and is currently building a lifestyle center in Central America, this is another venture of trusting the counsels given in the Spirit of Prophecy and leaving the results up to God. Reuben Stuger is the Husband of Jovelyn Stuger and the proud father of their 4 daughters. He and his wife have a catering business in Panama (Sabor del Eden) where they sell plant based food and encourage others to follow God’s diet plan. His sisters and brother in laws are also involved in ministry in Panama as they prepare detox plans, grow nutritious food, prepare bible studies and encouraging content that is shared through our media channels. They are also members of a soup kitchen where they Isaiah 58 principle is being practiced at the El Eden church in Boquete where Reuben Stuger is currently an Elder. Reuben has a degree in Finance and Control which he obtained at “The Hague University” in the Netherlands. He has worked for multiple financial institutions but he has left this behind to dedicate himself to ministry. Currently Back2Edenlifestyle is the only Outpost Center registered on “Outpost Center International” and is striving to open its door by next year. Reuben gets the greatest joy in sharing the good news of the gospel and the practical counsels given in the Spirit of Prophecy and he is looking forward to do so with you!

Stephan Kobes
Germany
Stephan Kobes has lived in the countryside for over 14 years. He sees the uniqueness of rural life as an invitation to discover the beauty of God's character. In doing so, gardening is for him a dialogue with God: he loves to derive from the beautiful and meaningful things of nature that higher wisdom that - instead of letting life's problems fade into oblivion - points to practical solutions. Stephan serves Hoffnung Weltweit as treasurer and is one of the organizers of the European Adventist Agriculture Conference. WORKSHOP: The Beauty of Rural Life. Parents are always looking for the best toys for their children. With good toys, the child can try out life. Thus, it helps the child to discover new things every day and to grow playfully towards the position the child will one day occupy in life. The Father in heaven has also chosen the very best toys for His children: country life is one of them. His textbook, nature, teems with life and fascination! In the workshop with STEPHAN KOBES, we want to discover the practical, beautiful and varied sides of these toys, which appeal to all senses and train all skills. A warm welcome!
